Biography

Maximilian Catalano is a British/Italian Baritone studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a postgraduate student. He has been supported by the Harpenden Music Foundation and the Chipperfield Choral Society.

 

After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in International Relations and Politics, Max was advised to pursue singing at conservatoire level. Since then he has sung with many choral societies around his home of Hertfordshire.

This year Max made his operatic debut in Aylesbury Opera's production of “La Bohème” and performed in the Guildhall’s summer opera scenes as Lepporello. Later, he performed in the Dorset Opera Festival Chorus in Paul Carr’s opera “Under the Greenwood Tree” and shortly will be performing in the Guildhall production of “Die Fledermaus”.

 

Last month Max flew to Chennai (Madras) to perform as a soloist in the Madras Guild of Performing Arts’ Indian debut of Haydn's “The Creation”, with the Gustav Mahler Society Orchestra of Colombo.

 

Having family in Shropshire, Max has always been keen to perform in the area. In July, he performed in a Gala performance hosted by Alistair McGowan in Ludlow. He hopes, along with this recital, to continue helping music and classical singing be more accessible to audiences here.

 

Harriet Cameron studied Musical Theatre at Bridgwater and Taunton College before studying at the Royal Academy of Music where she studied graduating with First Class Honours. In September she began her Master’s degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

 

Harriet recently worked with Bampton Classical Opera in “At the Venice Fair” by Salieri. She sang as a soloist in Vivaldi’s “Beautus Vir” and “Dixit Dominus” with the Brandenburg Sinfonia. Last summer she won the “Most Promising Young Singer” award at the Somerset Song Prize. Harriet was also an Ashburnham English song finalist this year and is currently rehearsing “The Rape of Lucretia” by Benjamin Britten in the Role of Lucia for this year’s British Youth Opera Production.

 

In December 2023 Harriet performed as a soloist in Handel’s “Messiah” with the Mayfield Festival. In 2022 she sang at a Wigmore Hall “music for the moment” song recital. In February this year She sang as soloist for London Fashion week with Patrick McDowells collection. Harriet is also a member of the Philharmonia Chorus student scheme.

Alicia Hernández Huebra (Madrid, 2000) completed her Bachelor's Degree at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid. She is a member of the Madrid Youth Orchestra and also sings in the Madrid Youth Choir, conducted by Juan Pablo de Juan. Since 2021, she has been accompanying the children's choir “Menudos Cantantes”.

In 2023, Alicia was selected as a répétiteur in the third edition of the Teatro Real Young Artist Programme Crescendo. Thanks to this programme, Alicia was the répétiteur for the opera “Amahl and the Night Visitors”, part of the Teatro Real Junior season.
In July 2024, she was the répétiteur for The Marriage of Figaro at the Berlin Opera Academy, where she played the harpsichord in the recitatives for all three performances.

Currently, she is in her second year of a Master's in Piano Accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. This academic year, Alicia will be accompanying both voice and drama lessons at the Guildhall
