About the Adbaston Community Concert Society
Each year, ACCS puts on four high-standard, usually classical concerts [occasionally jazz] in the mediaeval Adbaston church, which has very good acoustics.
Our aim is to make professional concert level music available in the Staffs/Salops border region at an affordable price of £10: audience around 60 – 80 people, sometimes more. We try to give a platform to regional professionals and to developing talents who will benefit from the exposure and in building their concert CVs.
There are several local patrons and most concerts are kindly subsidised by SDAC and/or others e.g. Manchester Camerata, Keyboard Charitable Trust.
